STATE DINNER
Every year The State Dinner is organized at Raj Bhavan in honour of Hon’ble Ministers & Members of Legislative Assembly, Himachal Pradesh during the budget session of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha . Moreover, the State Dinner is also organized at Raj Bhavan in honour of various VVIPs/dignitaries ( viz: Hon’ble President/Prime Minister & foreign Heads of State) who use to visit Shimla or stay at Raj Bhavan.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
Governor’s Secretariat has organized Investiture Ceremony and arrangements have to be made by the Home Department for Investiture Ceremony at Raj Bhavan. Various Medals awarded by the President of India are presented by the Governor at Raj Bhavan on the occasion.
CELEBRATION OF FESTIVALS
During the national festivals of the Republic Day & Independence Day and the festival of Diwali, Raj Bhavan Employees are invited for the celebrations. On Diwali festival, the Governor presents the gifts to Raj Bhavan employees.
