PREAMBLE
Two wings of Lok Bhavan i.e. Governor's Secretariat and Governor's Household Establishment are headed by the Secretary to Governor as Head of the Department.
1. Under Secretary is the Head of the office of the Secretariat & House hold Wing.
2. Household wing is headed by the Comptroller. The Under Secretary of the Governor's Secretariat and the Comptroller, Governor's Household report to the Secretary to the Governor for all official affairs of the Department.

The Governror’s Secretariat attends to all the work of the Governor including all the duties and functions which the Governor exercise under the provisions of the Constitution. The Secretariat also attends to the work relating to the Swearing-in-ceremwearing-in-ceremonies of the Council of Ministries, Chief Justice, HP High Court and the Lokayukta etc. It also provides assistance to the Governor in the performance of his functions such as the Chancellor of Universities etc. Besides, it deals with all the administrative matters with reference to those organisations with which the Governor associated either as President or Chairman.
